Save Nature Today, Or Lose Tomorrow

Water, forests, soil, air and energy are not unlimited. Everything we eat, drink, breathe and build comes from them. Protect them and they will protect us.

Our five lifelines

Each resource is connected to the others. Waste one and you weaken them all.

💧

Water

Only 1% of Earth's water is easily usable fresh water.

🌳

Forests

They give oxygen, rain, shelter and a home to most land species.

🌾

Soil

It takes hundreds of years to form just one inch of fertile soil.

⛽

Fossil fuels

Once burned they are gone forever and they heat the planet.

🌬️

Air

Clean air keeps our lungs and climate healthy.

Why We Must Save Every Resource

Tap each reason to open it. Every one is backed by a simple truth: what we waste today, our children will miss tomorrow.

Air, water and food are the basic needs of every living being. Without clean water we fall sick, and without fertile soil and healthy crops we go hungry. No technology can replace these.
Fossil fuels, minerals and groundwater are non-renewable or renew very slowly. Using them faster than nature refills them leads to shortages, higher prices and conflict.
Forests absorb carbon dioxide, while burning coal and oil releases it. Saving trees and energy means less global warming, fewer floods, droughts and heatwaves.
Forests, rivers and oceans are homes to millions of species. When habitats vanish, species go extinct, and food chains, pollination and medicines are lost with them.
Farming, fishing, tourism, power and industry all run on natural resources. Wise use creates lasting livelihoods, while overuse ends them.
Polluted air and water cause asthma, infections and many deadly diseases. Protecting resources means cleaner, longer, healthier lives.
We do not own the Earth, we borrow it from our children. Leaving them an empty planet is the biggest debt we can create.
Recycling, solar energy and rainwater harvesting reduce bills and waste. Restoring a ruined river or forest costs many times more than protecting it.
